I love that she can stay so positive and focus on what she needs to do. She takes her job as a hero super seriously and understands the dangers of it and genuinely wants to help people. She’s so pure and good.

least favorite thing about them

I guess her hothead. And even then she’s gotten better about it. I think most of my frustrations with her stem from the actual writing in the show and not as much her as a character.

I mean aside from like problematic ships with her I don’t really know? I kind of ship her with just about anyone, but I suppose as time has gone on I’ve started to like Chlonette less as a ship and more as a brotp (hence why I’ve never written the sequel to TTQ. I fell out of love with it for reasons.) I’d still write the ship I guess if someone requested something for it for like a prompt ask thing, but ultimately I got a little disenchanted with some of the popular tropes surrounding them in the fandom, my own fic surrounding them, and just a lot of things. I do think that if Chloe could learn to be nice that they could get along and become friends, but I don’t foresee them wanting more than that. I actually have a couple of fics planned with that exact scenario.

I mean. Do I really need to express my opinions on a certain ship that has taken over her tag recently again? >,> And it’s not that I don’t care for the subplot, well, I guess in some ways I don’t because Marinette’s only plot involvement really is romance related, and this just adds more romance for her to deal with instead of ya know the actual villain and saving Paris and maybe some stuff about her family or talking more with Master Fu about stuff, I dunno maybe that’s just me, but I think I’m not a fan of it because of how they introduced it because I feel like she fell in love with him for absolutely no reason. He was sitting on a bed meditating, she stared at him for 2 seconds and then started stuttering which we know she only really does if she’s lying (which she wasn’t at the time) or if she’s in love. People argue that it’s because she was startled, but she had a second to recoop after being startled. She’s not that sensitive. She knew absolutely nothing about him at that point. I just think the scene could have been done better cause I wasn’t necessarily opposed to the ship or the subplot, but the episode didn’t convince me. Luka was just underwhelming to me, and he’s not pretty in canon. Sorry.  I’ve actually discussed a better alternative to the scene where they meet with a friend that I plan to do in a fic I’m planning in the future but that’s neither here nor there.
